"Food for Thought", a Christian education program for all ages in the Aiken community, will begin at South Aiken Presbyterian Church, 1711 Whiskey Road, on Wednesday, March 4. The series will meet for five consecutive Wednesdays, ending April 1. Each evening begins with a catered supper at 5:15 p.m., followed by a choice of classes from 6 to 7 p.m. Adult classes include a study of the Gospel of Mark, "When Grief Breaks Your Heart," a history of the church and a mission study with speakers from Habitat for Humanity, Christ Central, Kairos prison ministry, and Haiti and Honduras mission groups. A children's class, "Journey to Jerusalem," and a middle/high school class, "Lent: It's not just for your pocket," will also be offered.
