Candidate Preference by Religious Group

Polling conducted in May and early Jun by a Pew Research
Center for a People a Press finds that Mitt Romney continues to hold
a autocratic lead over Barack Obama among white devout voters. But Obama
leads Romney by vast margins among black Protestants and religiously
unaffiliated voters.

The check was conducted May 9-June 3 among 3,003 adults
(including 2,338 purebred voters). It was mostly finished before the
release of a weaker-than-expected sovereign jobs news on Jun 1 and recent
declines in financial markets. The finish report,
which includes ubiquitous choosing welfare by religion
(PDF), is accessible on a Pew Research
Center for a People a Press’ website
